Essential Tips for Healthy Eyes and Clear Vision: Enhance Your Eye Health...

1.       Shield Your Eyes from Computer Screens: Spending long hours in front of screens can lead to eye discomfort and strain. This is because screen time reduces blinking, causing dryness and irritation in the eyes. Moreover, screens emit blue light, which can harm the delicate cells in the retina. There's concern that excessive exposure to blue light might raise the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). However, the amount of blue light emitted by electronic devices typically stays below the level considered harmful.

2.       Maintain a Safe Distance from Screens: Limit eye strain by positioning your screen at least 20 inches away from your eyes to prevent computer vision syndrome.

 3.       Rest Your Eyes Regularly: Combat dryness and irritation by following the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds to give your eyes a break.

7.       Manage Blood Sugar Levels: Control diabetes to safeguard your vision, as high blood           sugar can lead to eye problems and potential blindness if left untreated.
